Understanding the Ideagen Hub integration user sync

Ideagen Hub is the master source for user information, with user account creation and updates syncing one-way from Ideagen Hub to Ideagen Quality Management • Core.
This article provides a detailed overview of user synchronisation in this integration.
1. Synced data
Any changes made to user fields in Ideagen Hub are reflected in Ideagen Quality Management. Fields that only exist in Ideagen Quality Management stay as they are.

User account status in Ideagen Hub does not change user status in Ideagen Quality Management.
New user accounts are created in the disabled state by default in Ideagen Quality Management. Administrators must still enable these accounts manually to assign licenses.
2. Non-synced data
These fields remain editable in Ideagen Quality Management, but are not available or synced from Ideagen Hub.

For the Language Prefence field, translation is applicable to Ideagen Quality Management only.
The Password field in Ideagen Quality Management remains editable. This is used for accessing client tools with legacy password verification methods only (such as Header and Footer, Workflow Designer), not for logging into the system.
