Configuring the Corrective Action Workflow
Who is this article for?Users who are using our Best-in-Class Workflows.
Alter Workflow Instancespermissions are required.
The Corrective Action Workflow enables the tracking of an entire Corrective Action Plan from root cause analysis, to implementing a plan, to housing a completed record.
This article outlines the recommended configurations that can be applied to the Corrective Action Workflow which is available for download in the Best-in-Class Workflow Download Centre.
1. Associated Workflows
The Corrective Action Workflow is designed to be launched from other Workflows, rather than being initiated on its own. The most common process is to launch Corrective Actions from Nonconformance Reports found to necessitate a corrective action plan.
To use the Corrective Action Workflow in this way, the Best-in-Class Non-conformance Report Workflow should also be imported and configured.
Alternatively, you may choose to edit the Corrective Action Workflow to eliminate this dependency and to be launched independently. The Corrective Action Workflow can also be launched from other Best-in-Class Workflows including the Audit and Customer Complaint Workflows.
Finally, the Corrective Action Workflow includes an automation to copy data back to the Best-in-Class Customer Feedback Workflow. If the Customer Feedback Workflow isn’t imported and configured in conjunction with the Corrective Action, this automation will need to be removed before the Corrective Action is put online.

| Rework Corrective Action | Personnel Responsible for Implementing Corrective Action Plan | By default this step will be assigned to the person identified in this custom personnel field in a previous step.
