Who is this article for?Ideagen Quality Management administrators importing workflows.
Workflow Designer access is required.
This Workflow Designer tool is not accessed from the Ideagen Quality Management User Interface and must be installed on each user's machine separately.
This article provides the steps on how to install workflow designer and is split into the following sections:
Tip! The Workflow Designer is a stand-alone application that doesn't necessarily require special Ideagen Quality Management permissions or access to use. That means specific individuals or departments in your organization can build their own workflows and, when ready, send the designer file to the person with permissions to import them into Ideagen Quality Management. You can even save the designer file as an image and add it into Ideagen Quality Management for approval just like any other Controlled document. Then once it's approved it can be imported into the system, filled out, and put online.
1. How to Install the Workflow Designer

- Select Next on the download window.
- If a security window pops up, click Next again to bypass the warning.
- Select Next or Install on the following installation windows to accept the defaults, and click Finish when finished.
- To access the Workflow Designer file, enter 'Workflow Designer' in the Windows Search Bar or from the File Explorer window, go to C:\Program Files\Ideagen Quality Management, Inc\Ideagen Quality Management Workflow Designer\Ideagen Quality ManagementWorkflowDesigner.exe.
