Using the Documents section of the Inbox
Who is this article for?Users who want to learn more about the Documents in their Inbox.
View/Edit Documents permissions are required.
The Documents section of your Inbox categorizes all the current Document-related items you're tied to. Items appear as they're tasked to you and are removed or sent to the next responsible user as they are completed.
1. Documents in Inbox
To open a Document for processing, expand the headings and select its link.
Tasks appear under separate subheadings for each Document processing task.
- Documents to Review and Documents to Approve contain links to Documents that have been released to you for review or approval.
- Documents in Edit contains links to any Documents that are in edit under your name, including those placed in edit by other users through the Request Edit command.
- Documents Expired contain links to any Documents you manage that have triggered the expiration flag.

My Edits awaiting Approval and My Edits awaiting Review contain links to any Documents that you have released to other users for approval or review.
The number in parentheses beside each Document shows you how many of these users have processed it. Select a Document under this heading to open its Document Properties and see which approvals or reviews have been completed.
