Getting Started with Workflow Designer

Workflow Designer access is required.
The Workflow Designer tool helps you to chart out the process you want to turn into a Ideagen Quality Management workflow. By graphically laying out each step and all possible Routes in a flowchart format, you can then import and build your outline with the press of a button. Once you import your skeleton outline, go to the workflow definition pages to add the meat and finalize your process.
The Workflow Designer is a stand-alone application that doesn't necessarily require special Ideagen Quality Management permissions or access to use. That means specific individuals or departments in your organization can build their own workflows and, when ready, send the designer file to the person with permissions to import them into Ideagen Quality Management. You can even save the designer file as an image and add it into Ideagen Quality Management for approval just like any other Controlled document. Then once it's approved it can be imported into the system, filled out, and put online.
