Recovering an account lost due to forgotten username
Who is this article for?
Users who have no access to their account due to a forgotten username.
System Admin access is required.
To recover an account, you will need to retrieve the username for the person unable to access their account. If you are a user, contact your system administrator. If you are an administrator, you can view this information in the solution.
This article shows you where you can manage user details to help someone recover their account.
1. Viewing a username
To view the username:
- Go to Administration.
- Select Personnel.
- Click the user’s profile.
You should see the username listed in their account details.
We recommend following your organisation's security policy to ensure the username is only provided to the user the account belongs to.
2. Updating a username
To update the username:
- Click Edit on the user profile.
- Modify the Username field.
- Save changes.
Our Support team cannot directly modify or retrieve usernames for security reasons. All account management must be handled internally.
