Troubleshooting date field errors during document uploads

1. Issue
Document uploads may fail if a custom field of the Date type contains invalid input. This typically happens when the date is typed manually instead of being selected from the calendar picker.
Manual inputs can cause:
- Incorrect date formats
- Extra characters or spaces
- Non-date text
These inputs can trigger validation errors or prevent the document from being saved.
2. Solution
To resolve the issue, always use the calendar picker provided next to the date field.
To use the picker:
- Click the Calendar icon.
- Select the date from the interface.
- Continue the upload process.
If you typed the date and encountered an error, clear the field and reselect the date using the calendar.
