Customers may encounter an issue when trying to move a document to another folder. 

To make troubleshooting this issue easier to learn, this article is split into three sections so that you can either walk through the steps in sequence or you can jump to the section relevant to what you are finding:

1. Issue Experienced

This section will explain what occurs when the customer is experiencing the issue.

The customer will have noticed that they get an error when trying to move a document to another folder. The error states:

This section will provide the resolution for the error.

This occurs because the document had previously been in the html format with a nested document attached. This nested document was an image. Once the main document was converted to a new format the nested document was still attached. The nested document is considered an uncontrolled document. If the site has not allowed uncontrolled documents or the folder they were attempting to move the document to does not allow uncontrolled documents, the error will occur. The nested document will need to be removed and then the main document can be moved.
