Customers may encounter issues with the date showing in changes made comments. 

To make troubleshooting this issue easier to learn, this article is split into three sections so that you can either walk through the steps in sequence or you can jump to the section relevant to what you are finding:

1. Issue Experienced

This section will explain what occurs when the customer is experiencing the issue.

The customer will have noticed that the date showing in track changes for comments made is in the following format - 01/01/0001. This is due to the privacy options in the trust center settings for Word. 

2. Resolution 

This section will provide the resolution for incorrect date. 

1. Open the document showing the incorrect date in Word. 
2. Go to File and Options. 
3. In Options, select Trust Center >Trust Center Settings. 
4. Select Privacy Options.
5. Clear the check box next to Remove personal information from file properties on save.
6. Save the document and upload it to Ideagen Quality Management again. The date should now be correct.
