Is it possible to add a document link to a workflow definition? 

2. Answer 

Yes, a clickable link can be added to a workflow definition. 

1. Create a new Text custom field. 
2. Add a URL in the following format to the description field.

   Format:
   <a href="https://companyname.qualtraxcloud.com/ShowDocument.aspx?ID="AddIdHere"">{Link Title}</a>
   
   Example:
   <a href="https://oursite.qualtraxcloud.com/ShowDocument.aspx?ID=32451">Ideagen Quality Management Policy</a>

3. Save the Text custom field. 
4. Add the custom field to the workflow definition. 
5. Make the field viewable, but not editable. 

A user with Alter Workflow Instance permissions will see the field as editable.
