Can the initiator of a workflow instance see the child workflow instance that was launched? 

2. Answer 

When a workflow is initiated by a user, but the child workflow instance does not have that user listed as the responsible party for the first step, they parent workflow initiator can still see and edit the workflow. They also get notification about it and have it listed in their Inbox.
