How are new MIME types added to Ideagen Quality Management? 

2. Answer 

Ideagen Quality Management should handle the upload and storage of any type of document. However, if there is an occasion where an extension needs to be added with a specific MIME type, this would be done in IIS on the web (application) server. 

1. On the web server, open IIS.
2. Highlight the name of the server and select MIME Types from the middle pane.
3. Under Actions on the top right-hand side, choose Add..., enter the information needed for the Extension, MIME Type, and Entry Type values.
