Drag & Drop for Large Uploads
Who is this article for?
All Ideagen Quality Management Users with document control permissions.Ideagen Quality Management site access is needed.
If you have a large number of documents to upload into Ideagen Quality Management, drag & drop is the best option to use. (Typically, our customers will have a folder on their desktop with all the documents they need to upload.) You can then utilize Select All – Ctrl + A for Windows and Command + A for Mac – and then drag those to a folder you have access to in your Ideagen Quality Management site.
In the image below a green highlight indicates that you have the proper permissions to add documents to the folder. If you see a red highlight at any point, you will want to check folder properties to be sure you have the correct security permissions.

If you have any concerns about improper file extensions being added when drag & drop is used, you can fix that as an administrator. In Administration>System Settings go to the Document Control tab. The options will have a Prohibited Extensions section where you can add any extension that you wish to block from being uploaded into your site.
