• Add the Ability to Override To Be Published Date with Specific Calendar Date

• • • The Delay Publish setting introduced in 2022.31.0.0 allows you to delay the publication of a document for a period of time. In 2022.34.0.0, we are adding the ability to override the To Be Published date for a document in Awaiting Publish status.
    • If your organization tends to have more documents that should go into effect on a specific calendar date, you can set the default Delay Publish interval to a longer period of time to ensure that you are able to override the auto-calculated To Be Published date for a given revision as needed.

• Backend Development for Delay Publish Folder Property: In 2022.31.0.0, we rolled out the ability to delay document publish after final approval. We are now working to add the Delay Publish setting to Folder Properties, allowing you to manage the setting en-masse.

• Add the Ability to Delay Document Publish Post-Approval: A new step has been added to the Document Control Lifecycle. Controlled documents can now be configured to delay the publication of a document for a period of time after final approval. When a document is configured with delayed publish, you'll be able to preview and test on updated policies and procedures prior to the effective date - without losing easy access to the latest published revision. The date filters can be used to view changes made for a specific point in time, or the report can be run unfiltered to view all records. • Add User List by Permission Custom Script: The User List by Permission Common Script allows you to select a permission to view a list of all users with that permission, regardless of whether it's assigned directly or inherited via group membership. A link to the Effective Permissions page is included for each user in the report to allow you to drill in to determine how the user is receiving the permission and make any necessary adjustments via Personnel and/or Group Administration. For users with the Run Common Scripts permission, this new report can be accessed by adding /CustomScripts/UserListByPermission.aspx to the end of your system URL. Please note: To access the Effective Permissions page from the report links, you will need the appropriate Personnel Administration permission as well.

Please Note: We will be removing the PDF Password Security feature in an upcoming release to align Ideagen Quality Management-generated PDF functionality more to that of all other file types. This does not impact PDF Printing Security.

• Add the Ability to reset password via Email Verification when entering a login name and selecting "Log in,"-authenticating users will now see a Forgot password? link above the Password field. This link can be used to send an email to the email address associated with the user account, containing a link to reset their password directly in Ideagen Quality Management.
• The password complexity requirements set by the Ideagen Quality Management Administrator are displayed on the Change Password page, and they will change color as the entered password meets each requirement.
• If you are currently managing a reset password process for your users, we strongly recommend sending out a notification of this new method instead. It is more secure and does not rely on administrator action. A quick video overview of the feature can be found here.
