This article outlines the product changes, enhancements, and fixes that have been implemented for our LTS clients throughout 2024.
2024.8.0.3 LTS
Fixes
- Resolved issue with incorrect date display in the Report section of the Inbox.
- Resolved issue with incorrect date formatting in email subjects.
- Resolved "Oops..." error during execution of Scheduled Tasks if the DD/MM/YYYY date format was used.
- Resolved issue with the Download Published Revisions script if the DD/MM/YYYY date format was used.
- Resolved issue with Audit Trails displaying "Invalid Date" if the DD/MM/YYYY date format was used.
This update has only been applied to the European server, so will only affect customers served from that region.
2024.8.0.2 LTS
General
- Updated the minimum password strength requirements to meet best practice in the industry.
Please see Updating Password Settings with Version 2024.6.0.0 for more information. - Completed rebrand from Qualtrax to Ideagen Quality Management. Updated icon and favicon with new design.
- Added links to Ideagen’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to the login screen and to the Help menu. No changes have been made to how we handle user data/privacy; we are just required to surface the policies visibly for users.
Features
- Added the ability to email reports in PDF format. This format can now be selected from the ‘Schedule Delivery’ screen.
- Changed the wait messages to a standard professional message.
- Implemented the ability to show the provisioning server as part of the tenant details on the main page to streamline support and troubleshooting efforts.
- Added Audit Trail information and history for each field value changed on a workflow instance.

Workflow field value Audit Trail records the previous and current values for each field that is changed on the specified workflow, the identity of the individual making the change, and the date and time.

Any content can be searched for with the Search bar, and the display can be filtered by clicking each column header to re-order the data.

For users with the Run Common Scripts permission, this new report can be accessed by adding /WorkflowFieldsAuditTrail to the end of your Qualtrax URL.

To access Workflow Field Value Audit Trail, users will need the new View Workflow Field Audit Trail permission in addition to the Run Common Scripts permission.
This new permission gives users the ability to view changes to ALL fields in a workflow if they know the workflow instance #ID.

If configured to have sign-off personnel, Training instances once completed will now correctly always be assigned to the Sign-Off user assigned via the Definition for completion.

Resolved problem where the revision number referenced for a test would not update when running a Custom Test Report that used the ‘Revision # Tested On’ field. This only occurred when using the ‘Delay Publish’ feature associated with a test.
- Fixed a problem with workflow time delays not being respected. Now, when selecting a route that includes a time delay > 0, the workflow instance will correctly remain on the From Step for the route until the time delay value is met. At that point, the workflow will move to the From Step associated with the route as expected.
- Resolved issue where a sign off task would incorrectly remain outstanding after a user had been removed from the original sign-off group.
- Resolved issue where email actions for scheduled report success message sent multiple duplicate emails when there were multiple recipients.
- Introduced a workflow automation step which will execute an automation action for existing workflows.
- Resolved issue where only last two external files were included when exporting a report.
- Updated our Code Signing Configuration to ensure ongoing FIPS compliance.
- Resolved issue with password reset links not generating links to emails.
- Resolved issue with email recipient “Document Managers” sending to incorrect users.
- Resolved issue that prevented users from cancelling self-submittable training.
- Corrected an issue preventing a workflow from being saved when invalid XML characters used in text fields.
- Resolved issue where PDFs couldn't autopublish when user was set to out of office.
- Resolved issue allowing Administrators to create workflows with automation as initial step. This should now not be possible as it's not supported.
- Reduced web timeout set to avoid issues with preventing logins.
- Resolved issue with changes not saving the subform rows getting deleted when adding a new subform to an existing instance.
The system will now automatically scan for this problem and repair the workflow, if necessary, as soon as the workflow is loaded. The automated fix will appear in the Audit Trail (Documents and Workflows) as “System data repair performed on workflow.”. No data is being repaired here – the repair is to the XML structure in the back end. - Resolved issue where serial approvers were allowed to approve out of order.
- Resolved issue with list values added by API not showing list field value ID.
- Fixed API post to list field not working as expected.
A tool-tip has been added which indicates the valueID when hovering over a list field. The API documentation and error message have also been updated. - Resolve issue with personnel custom field throwing "not editable" error when using API.
- Fixed issues with User List by Permission Common Script Reports not providing accurate information.
- Rendered Auto Enrollment functional.
- Fixed inline scrolling of PDFs on iPad.
When a document is open in Ideagen Quality Management, a new button in the 'Actions' menu enables the viewer to open the document in a new tab, which will enable scrolling on iPad. - Fixed visual bug where Audit Trail showed “Changes Saved” when changes did not occur on a workflow page.
- Resolved error with ‘Approved By’ property not populating in Header when using Delay Publish Feature.
- Resolved Error with certain document variables not populating when using Delay Publish Feature.
